Boys Junior Varsity Water Polo, Boys Varsity Water Polo · Okemos Boys Water Polo Qualifies For State Finals

After playing three games at the regional championships in Ann Arbor this weekend, the Okemos Boys Water Polo team has qualified for the state championship. The state finals are at East Kentwood High School in Grand Rapids on November 14-15.  The Chiefs are guaranteed to play three games starting with the initial game against #1 ranked Rockford at 4:00pm Friday the 14th.   • The team plays a style that is very dynamic, action packed, and a testament to strength conditioning and mental toughness required for success in the sport
  • This year’s squad features only three seniors and no juniors — the rest of the team members are all underclassmen
  • Okemos is one of eight teams in the finals — and the only high school in the mid-Michigan area at the finals
